Sian Alexia Paine, founder of Sian Alexia Illustration, is an artist and illustrator known best for her watercolour art.
In early 2024, she left the hustle and bustle of Manchester behind, relocating to a peaceful spot on the border of Cheshire and Wales, to fulfil a lifelong dream to live in the beautiful countryside. She shares her life with her husband, two young daughters, and their toy poodle, Flora.
Sian Alexia Illustration was founded to pursue her love of imaginative drawing and painting. Inspired by her experiences as a mother, ethereal artwork, and the beauty of nature, Sian’s work is known for its emotional sentiment and joyful charm.
Her delicate, freehand watercolour style is recognised in her people and pet portraits, floral designs, and soft, muted colour palettes. Each piece is lovingly crafted in her countryside studio, beautifully packaged, and ready to be treasured.

A little bit of history..
Sian was born and raised in small market town in Cheshire. Her passion for drawing began in childhood, where she spent endless hours creating imaginative characters, tiny books and cards. After studying Art and Textiles and earning a Degree in Fashion Styling and Image Making from Manchester, Sian pursued a successful 15-year career in luxury fashion management, working for brands such as Harrods and Christian Louboutin.
In 2017, while on maternity leave, Sian rediscovered her love for drawing, focusing on children's illustration and watercolour painting. By 2021, she officially launched Sian Alexia Illustration, where she now creates magical artwork for wonderful clients across the UK and internationally.
